The site was purchased in February 2016 unentitled and the development company is processing a zone change and vesting tentative tract map though the City of Los Angeles. The proposed project includes constructing a community park and 65 single family detached homes on 3,500 and 5,000 sq. ft. lots. The project replaces a long deserted vacant and dilapidated intuitional building that was fenced off from the community. The new development provides larger lots along Eldridge Street and offers multiple elevation styles to improve the streetscape. Pedestrian connections are planned around and through the property for future homeowners and other area residents.
